“It's only a problem if you think it is.”

Background
My route into marketing was practical before it was ever formal. I worked in a small pet adoption clinic as a volunteer, and decided to help get dogs adopted through social media marketing, on Facebook, primarily.
I learned the craft by doing the work across brand, content and strategy, and over time I grew into a role that touches every part of how a company reaches the people it serves. MindFriend pulled me in because of the mission.
Marketing a mental health brand means you have to earn trust before you ask for anything, and that is the kind of work I care about most. It lets me think like a strategist and a builder at the same time, which is where I do my best work. Most of what I lean on day to day has come from building things and seeing what actually holds up.
What they do at MindFriend
At MindFriend I lead marketing and brand, which in practice means I look after every marketing function the business relies on. I own our positioning and messaging, keep our organic social and content running, and carry much of the work on our website and conversion. A large part of my role is building our consumer-first marketing funnel from the ground up, so each stage connects cleanly from social through to the landing page. The aim behind all of it stays the same: help the people who need support find us, and make sure the brand feels safe and welcoming from the very first moment.
Outside work
Away from work, I am usually playing Marvel Rivals with my husband or deep in a game of Dungeons & Dragons. I write stories, and music runs through most of my days: I sing and play guitar, piano and drums.
You will also almost always find me with my two furbabies, a chow pom named Khaleesi and a toy poodle named Kotaro.
