MindFriend and health insurance
MindFriend is a technology marketplace, not an insurer. It does not sell insurance, process insurance claims, or bill any insurer on your behalf.
When you book, you pay your therapist's fee directly through the platform's payment provider, and MindFriend is not a party to the agreement between you and your therapist. Your therapy invoice comes from your therapist, issued in the therapist's own name.
Whether your sessions can be reimbursed is between you and your own insurer, and may depend on your policy and on your therapist's registration. If you want to make a claim, you can ask your therapist for their invoice and submit it to your insurer yourself.
MindFriend cannot tell you whether a particular policy will cover a session or how much you might get back — your insurer and your therapist are the right people to ask.
