Background
I have always been intrigued by people, specifically how we interact, how the environment shapes personalities, and how identifying patterns of behaviour can be used in predicting actions. This led me to study Psychology in my undergraduate degree and later take a masters in Business and Occupational Psychology.
My academic background has shaped my ongoing interest in human behaviour, organisations and the ways psychological insights can support people in their work lives. I am passionate about making psychological knowledge more accessible, and contribute to the mission of helping people better understand where to find evidence-based information across different areas of psychology.
What they do at MindFriend
As a Talent & Development Contributor, I support MindFriend across areas including recruitment, team development and organisational initiatives. My role involves helping identify and connect with talent, supporting internal processes and contributing ideas that help the business continue to grow. I work collaboratively with the wider team to support MindFriend's mission of making trusted psychological knowledge and support more accessible.

Outside work
When I get time, I enjoy travelling, experiencing new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. I am passionate about personal development and continuously look for ways to grow, whether that is developing greater self-awareness or learning more about how we can better understand ourselves.
Recently, I have been exploring practices that support mindfulness and emotional wellbeing, including learning about nervous system regulation, and taking time for slower, creative activities like crocheting (I am currently making a beach bag for my next holiday). I believe we only have one life, so I am always looking for opportunities to learn about myself and make the most of my potential.
